Textile Manufacturing
HMR Group is doing its textile manufacturing and trading business in East Africa. The group has established three companies namely Nida Textile Mills (T) Mills Limited, Namera Group of Industries (T) Limited and Diamond Ginning & Oil Mill (T) Limited.
Nida Textile was established in 2002 in Tanzania when Group ventured far afield to the African market for trade in textile and made ups. The business grew to flourish to new heights with the opening of a trend-setting showroom and a state of the art textile mill in Dar-es-Salam, Tanzania. Nida Textile is an export oriented company with products ranging from dyed and printed fabric, bed linen and drapes. The textile products represent a combination of the century old tradition and practices of the east and the latest textile technology of the west.
Namera, a textile mill, was established in 2000 and is located at Gongo la Mboto on the outskirts of Dar-es-Salaam. Its main activity includes preparing yarn from cotton, weaving grey cloth and printing grey cloth.
Diamond Ginning was established in 2002 and is located at Kahama, Tanzania. The company is engaged in manufacturing and marketing cotton ginning, oil extraction from seeds, soap and cotton cakes.
