The Group established Mazyood Jewellery LLC in Dubai, UAE in 1994 as its foray into the bullion trade. The company was later registered as Mazyood Jewellery DMCC. Soon after its establishment Mazyood Jewellery DMCC became one of the Dubai’s leading suppliers of bullion to the subcontinent and an established name in the industry. The company imports bullion from major international banks and refineries such as UBS Warburg, Credit Suisse First Boston, Bank of Nova Scotia, Commerzbank and Argor Hereaus. In February 2000, the company was honoured by UBS Warburg for being the best customer of gold bullion in the UAE.
